This study will reveal the meaning of the symbols, statues and attire used by the Pope and priests, as they reveal what the Papal Church is really worshiping.

The Zucchetti which is worn by Catholic priests, cardinals and the Pope, represents respect, fear and submission to Cybele, the Mother Goddess of Rome.
The Cap of Cybele is one of the oldest and most sacred pagan religious symbols of humanity, dating back to 2,000 B.C.
The skull cap was worn by the sun priests of Egypt.
It is a thin, slightly rounded skullcap now commonly known by various titles including the Yarmulke (Jewish) and Kufi (Muslims).
The Roman Catholic Church calls it the Zucchetti.
Vatican Hill was the site of the largest ancient temple to Cybele. Ashtoreth the goddess of fertility, sexuality and war; was known as Cybele in Rome.
The Bible warns against worshiping her, “Then the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served the Baals and the Ashtoreths.” Judges 10:6

The Obelisk in St. Peter’s Square represents the worship of the Sun god.
Obelisks were prominent in the architecture of the ancient Egyptians, who placed them at the entrance of a temple, marking it as a zone of sun worship.
They represent the Sun God Ra, the Egyptians’ greatest deity; the creator of humanity, the source of all heat and light, the being on which man was totally dependent.
An Egyptian obelisk sits in front of the Pantheon of ancient Rome, which housed statues of their pagan gods. The obelisk was originally constructed by Pharaoh Ramses II for the Temple of Ra in Heliopolis. It was brought to Rome in ancient times where it was used near a shrine to the Egyptian god Isis.
The Pantheon was dedicated to pan theos, meaning “all the gods.” When it became a Roman Catholic Church, it was dedicated to the Virgin Mary and all the martyrs.
The most well-known Egyptian obelisk was re-erected in 1586 A.D., in front of St. Peter’s Basilica. It is surrounded by a sun wheel, with the points lining up with the Vernal Equinox, the Summer Solstice and the Winter Solstice.

During the sunrise on the Vernal Equinox, the sun causes the obelisk to cast its shadow towards the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica, which represents the sexual union of the sun god and moon goddess.
God’s 2nd commandment says, “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. The eight-pointed star represents the pagan goddess Ishtar, the lightbringer.
In Babylonian symbolism, the goddess Ishtar is represented by an eight-pointed starburst, and she is associated with the planet of Venus.
Ishtar was the Babylonian High-Mother-Goddess, the goddess of fertility, love and war. Her cult was the most important one in ancient Babylon.
An eight-point star enclosed within a circle is the symbol for the sun god, as it’s points represent the solstices and equinoxes.

At the center of St. Peter’s Basilica, the Pope sits in the middle of eight 8-sided stars.

The Maltese Cross represents Shamash, the god of the Sun and Justice.
In the image, an ancient Assyrian king is wearing a cross on his chest, just like the one seen on the Pope’s robe.
Shamash (Akkadian Šamaš “Sun”), was a native Mesopotamian deity and the sun god in the Akkadian, Assyrian and Babylonian pantheons.
Shamash was the god of justice in Babylonia and Assyria, corresponding to Sumerian Utu.
This cross was identified with a Sun god eight centuries before Christ and long before it was called the Maltese Cross by the Knights of Malta.
It’s also called the Iron Cross. Roman Catholic Adolph Hitler renewed use of the Iron Cross in 1939 and superimposed the Nazi swastika in its center.
Ask yourself, why does the Pope wear the cross of Shamash the Sun god?
Pine cones symbolize the worship of the solar god Osiris.
Pine cones are associated with spiritual enlightenment by ancient Babylonians, Egyptians and Greeks. They represent the mysterious link between the physical and the spiritual worlds, which can be found in the human brain, in the pineal gland.
The pine cone staff is a symbol of the solar god Osiris and originated in Egypt where he was their messiah who died for his people and whose Mother, Isis, was worshiped as the Virgin Mother.
The Vatican also has the world’s largest pine cone that once decorated a fountain in ancient Rome next to a vast Temple of Isis.
At the Old St. Peter’s Basilica, it was dedicated to Attis, son and lover of Cybele. The Catholic Church then relocated it to what’s now called the Vatican Court of the Pigna.
Ask yourself, why do Popes use pine cones which symbolize the solar god Osiris?
Revelation 13 says that Satan the dragon gives authority to the antichrist beast.
The Bible calls Satan the great dragon, who deceives the world.
“So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Revelation 12:9
Revelation 13 tells us that antichrist beast is empowered by the dragon to deceive the world.

Ask yourself, why does the Catholic Church use images of the dragon which represents Satan?
Friend, it’s obvious that the Roman Catholic Church is worshiping other gods, which is forbidden by the Bible.

One more thing, if you are trying to validate your faith (as I was) or find the truth you need to do two things pray for wisdom and spend time reading His Word (THE BIBLE). James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all men generously and without reproaching and it will be given to him.”
The bible I am reading is probably published in the 1970’s when pope John Paul II was the pope. It is an American Standard Version (ASV) and I was reading the Revelation of John vs 2:15 in the old bible reads, “So hast thou also some that hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans in like manner, THOSE THINGS WHICH I HATE”.
I received a “new bible” for Christmas from the inlaws. My father-in-law had talked to his priest about what version to get me and ended up choosing the Revised Standard Version, (RSV) Revelation 2:15 in that bible reads. “So you also have some who hold the teachings of the Nicolaitans”.
Notice a difference? They took out THOSE THINGS WHICH I HATE. (which is speaking the things of which Christ hates). I just looked on-line on bible hub and even the ASV now has that part of the verse removed.
I read about the Nicolaitans practices which Christ hates and it was basically them bringing Pagan Traditions into Christ’s Church.

Thank you John 🙂 One of the first deceptions that the Spirit showed me about 3 years ago was that the modern Bible versions had removed many words from the Bible, especially ones that validated the deity of Jesus. I am not King James only, but I use it as a reference. You can compare what your Bible says to the KJV and see if it is missing these words. so what happened to Maccabees one and two in most translations if your talking about things being left out of other translations? also the Catholic Church has one official translation of the Bible, its called the Vulgate Bible, if you use that as your source material. then I will accept your criticism of the Catholic Church as a fellow academic however please don’t use protestant distortions of the original Bible (compiled by the early Church which I distinctly remember existing before Martin Luther and John Calvin) to criticise one religion, because you can twist anything to mean anything you want. second point when criticising religions, criticise on its own merits, never compare as it makes you look less educated and more childish in academic circles, and thirdly, the Coptic Church also has a head that is styled as Pope, he was actually styled as Pope long before the Roman Patriarch was styled as Pope, please use proper academic sources rather than Wikipedia and also take care about who the author is, what ever you read will have a twist on it some way or another.

The word “revised” ought to be a dead givaway. Truth needs no revision. The fact is all bibles have been revised. I found it very interesting to research the Bible from original scrolls to current editions. Much has been changed, mistranslated and deleted.
I was a Catholic (since birth) for the past 36 years. I have heard people talk about their faith at work and always felt like I couldn’t dispute or affirm their biblical theory since I just didn’t know the bible. So, I read the bible chronologically. I wanted to know the history of what happened in the Old Testament that Christ had come to fulfill. I was told by a Catholic priest (who was at our pre-baptism class) that “I was wasting my time in the Old Testament.” I have two young children and don’t have much time to read so I read at lunch (so it took approximately 2.5 years).
Anyway, I was reading an old American Standard Version bible and read Matthew 23:9 “And call no man your father on the earth: for one is your Father, even he who is in heaven.”
I then happened to be looking in the Glossary of the ASV bible (it is a very old and large bible) and read the definition of pope.
Pope – The Bishop of Rome who, as the Vicar of Christ and the legitimate successor of St. Peter, is the visible head of the Church. The title, Pope, is derived from the Greek work papas, meaning father. The pope is elected for life by the College of Cardinals. He has the privilege of resigning if he wishes, in which case a new pope would be elected. Any male Catholic, regardless of race or color, cleric or laymen, could be elected. However, if a layman were selected, he would have to be ordained a priest and consecrated a prelate before he could ascend the throne of St. Peter.
Christ declared Peter the primate of His Church at Caesarea Phillippi, with these words, “I for my part declare to you, you are ‘Rock’, and on this rock I will build my church, and the jaws of death shall not prevail against it”. From the time of Peter the pope’s duties are to exercise supreme authority over the faith and morals of the faithful. He can enact laws for the Church, grant dispensations, excommunicate, create dioceses-in fact, take charge of the entire Church, hierarchy, clergy, and laymen. In matters concerning faith and morals, his decisions are infallible.

If you are unsure about your faith or simply trying to validate it as I was pray for wisdom and spend time reading the scripture. God will reveal the truth to you through His Word. James 1:5 says that if you ask for wisdom it will be given to you. It doesn’t usually happen overnight though, it took me years.

You are being ignorant of what happens in the next verse following that one. The very next verse, Jesus calls Abraham “Father Abraham.” He clearly was not implying that you could not use the word “father.” Otherwise, what do you call your male parent?
I agree that He was not talking about our dad. The context of the passage was about the Jewish leaders being exalted above the people, making them call them Rabbi.
“But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.” Matthew 23:8-9
So Messiah was referring to leaders when He said don’t call them “rabbi” or “father”, thus it applies to the Pope and priests, the leaders of the Catholic Church.
It also applies to Jewish Rabbis.

If you want to know a true religion from a false religion look to: first, it’s founder (roots), Jesus founded the Catholic Church and second, it’s fruit over the last 2000 years ( most charitable institution ever, responsible for most of the sciences, hospitals, the university system, the legal system, modern medicine).

The Popes of Rome clearly declare to be the Vicar of Christ, which means ‘in place of Christ’. They proclaim to be Christ in the flesh. They proclaim to forgive sins, which only Messiah can do. They proclaim to offer salvation, which only Messiah can do. They proclaim to be God on Earth. Proclaiming to be God and to forgive sins is blasphemous. They deceive the world by dressing as priests and doing good works, but they deceive with a false salvation message. The Bible declares the Church of Rome to be the Harlot Church, the apostate Church. Messiah said to “Come out of her lest you partake in her plagues!” David

A small correction: Jesus indeed founded the Church (not the “Catholic Church”), which truly was catholic (universal) and undivided. The Great Schism of 1054AD, formally separated the Roman-Catholics (RC) from the Orthodox Church. More schisms from the RC church followed after that.
I believe that the teachings of the original, undivided Church remain in full with the Orthodox Church. The RC went astray when they started introducing
inovations: the Filioque, papal primacy, papal infallibility, the doctrine of the sacred heart, the Immaculate Conception, etc.
Oh, and among the fruits of the RC church, you forgot to mention the Inquisition.
THE RC CHURCH WAS INVENTED BY EMPEROR CONSTANINE. THE COUNCIL OF NICEA AD 325…WHERE 4 GOSPELS OUT OF AT LEAST 27 WERE RECOGNISED AS SERVING THE AGENDA OF THE UNIFICATION OF GREEK/ROMAN GODS FOR THE PURPOSE OF SAVING THE ROMAN EMPIRE FROM DISSOLUTION. THE MUCH WISER INTUITION OF GNOSTICS WERE DESTROYED AT THE ARSON OF THE FIRE OF ALEXANDRIA. THE WARLIKE RELIGION OF ISLAM IS THE OFFSPRING OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH…ENOUGH SAID.

In the year 325 the Nicean Creed was written in defense of the Holy Trinity and the Holy Catholic and Apostalic faith against the Arian heresy which denied the H. Trinity and Christ’s devinity. Such defenders of the faith were St Athenasius and even St Nicholas.
