christianity teaches a system ( false ) invented by Origen and Augustine that uses allegories .they began to use it when Christ didn’t return when they thought He should ( Rome uses it also and worse ) that began teaching that He would come after the trib. but the bible does not teach that ,so they began using false allegories . the only that those in churches could follow Chrislam is by the use of allegories .we are told that Constantine became a christian . It is clear that discourse is not going to correctly defend the Holy Catholic Church as it should be, so I direct your claims against this website: http://www.catholic.com/ i.e Catholic Answers. They offer clear concise answers to the kinds of questions you have been claiming answers for. This is not exhastive, but certainly points one in the right direction on Catholic teaching. I do hope you visit the site and make a few searches of some of the questions you raise, and maybe you’ll find something worthwhile and maybe come to understand the truth of the Faith. Otherwise it might even give you more ammunition for your crusade, it might help you to “Know you’re enemy”

Who said the bible is the Word of God?

Just in case I do, the Catholic Church, i.e. the universal Church. I.e. the Church of the World. The Church Christ established in Peter, who passed on this authority through his successors. The Church Christ said “the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it”. The Church that has been persecuted non-stop for 2000 years and yet is the oldest surviving “thing” on the earth, the one you persecute. The Church you have sawt to justify is evil by sticking dubious lies on top of each other.
If you accept that the bible is the word of God, you have to invertently accepted the authority of the Church to declare as such. So you condemn the Church which allows you to call the bible the word of God and you use it to attack the Church, its a circular argument which is just false. Aside from all this illogic there is the very obvious misreading of the Bible, just because some articule says so doesn’t mean its true. If its stupid its stupid. Like yours, like you citations. In fact having citations helps us to understand that your “house” is bulit on sand, and mine is bulit upon “Petrus”. I look to the Church, the authority that compiled the Bible,to tell me about it. You are appealing to the internet, the unreguated melting pot of unrealiable data.

Two verses before Matthew 16:18, Peter had just confessed that Jesus was the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Jesus is the rock that the church is built on, not Peter.
Romans 9:33 and 1 Corinthians 10:4 tell us that Jesus is the rock.
“As it is written: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense, and whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
“For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.”
Ephesians 2:19-22 tells us that Jesus is the chief cornerstone, and the apostles the foundation that the true church is built on.
”Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone(rock), in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”
So the Church of God is built on the rock of Jesus, on the foundation of all of the Apostles(not just Peter) and is built up by followers of Christ.
Peter had the honor of laying the foundation of the church among the Jews and Gentiles.
But Christ did not mean to exalt Peter to supreme authority above all the other apostles, or to say that he was the only one on whom he would rear his church.
For Jesus used Paul and Phillip and all of the disciples to build His church.

What makes you assert that Jesus didn’t intend that, he came from a tradition of succession, being the descendant of David. When Jesus said “I will call you peter, and upon this rock I will did my Church, I will give you the keys of heaven and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” do you say that this gift of Keys was meaningless? That while the other apostles were standing on, and Jesus declaring this was naught but a waste of time?

He changes his name, name changing is a biblical theme which only God does, He does this when he exults that person. Here we have Simon, now “Peter”. Why would God exercise this power, for no reason at all?
You understand that the Pope, the successor of Peter, is a Bishop. There are many bishops who go forth and spread the good news, but you don’t have to be a Bishop, priest or religious to preach the Resurrected Christ Crucified. The lord does not contradict, for to do so is illogical and God is rational, therefore both this statement and his call that all the disciples (the followers of Christ not just the apostles) go out and preach the message do not contradict. Where do both of these aspects exist? The Catholic Church, the Orthodox, the Coptic’s, The Ethiopian Orthodox, they all share the majority of Dogma and apostolic succession. They also comprise about 80% of what is described as Christian, arguably listening to Jesus should be a fundamental requirement in being Christian.
No, your reasoning here is to support your argument by taking Quotations from the Bible out of context. This is exactly the charge I accused you of in the last post. You have not addressed it.

So you’re saying that verses that specifically call Jesus the Rock are out of context? That doesn’t make sense.
I quoted the Bible showing how the temple of God, the church, is built with Jesus as the cornerstone (the rock), all of the Apostles as the foundation… and you’re saying that is out of context? The Bible it telling you these things, not me.
I don’t need to address your accusations of me taking scripture out of context, because you’re the one who is misapplying the meaning of Jesus words, I’m just speaking what the Word of God clearly says.
Four verses after Jesus said that He would build His church on the rock, in Matt 16:18, “He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ. From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!” But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”
