Should We Pray To Mary?

This Roman Catholic Beliefs page features a video about whether we should pray to Mary or not?

Roman Catholics are taught to pray to Mary, but should we?

.The Bible proclaims that only Messiah is the way to the Father, Salvation is found in Him alone, and that there is only one Mediator”

I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all.” 1 Timothy 2:5-6

Mary should be revered, as she was highly favored, and she is the mother of our Messiah; but she is not out Intercessor, and we should only pray to Messiah.

  1. May God open their eyes. Catholic Catechism 969 says Mary is a mediatrix; which is a female mediator. There is but one mediator, Christ Jesus!

  2. Mary was the mother of Jesus so that he could be born into the line of David. Then she died and was buried. The next thing she will know is the resurrection, just like the rest of the dead.
