whatever your doctrines or disciplines are if no holy communion is to be given to a remarried or divorced person in a catholic church ,nowadays around fifty percent are either remarried or divorced,so in the near future you will have to stop this sacrament altogether.This can start another protestant church.

Interesting read and a sincere thanks for putting this out there. As someone who was brought up Catholic, I enjoy reading on other’s take. This was very thought provoking. Needless to say, your alternative to Catholicism has it’s faults as well. Catholicism is a Christian mask upon a pagan cornerstone. Anyone with eyes (spiritual or physical) can see that. Your alternative, the “word” as it’s called is also the workings of men of motives. With a little bit of prayer, reflection, and an open heart, one can know Jesus without ever picking up a bible. With deeper prayer and reflection, one can know God in the way Abraham did. This is strictly my opinion albeit one of a non-thiest.
